JIIT Noida Admissions 2023

 

Overview

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida is a deemed university established in 2001. The institute offers B.Tech. & Integrated M.Tech. courses and the admissions are done through institutional level counselling.

Admissions will be done through:

• Mode 1 – JEE Main Merit (50% seats)
• Mode 2 – Class 12th Merit (50% seats)

UPDATE: JIIT Noida has released the admission notification for the academic year 2023-24 and registrations have started.

UPDATE (May 23, 2023): JIIT Noida has introduced 2 new B.Tech courses namely Electronics (VLSI) and ECE (Advanced Communication). 50% of the seats in these courses will be filled through direct admission by the institute. Refer Direct Admission.

The JEE Main mode application form (offline or online for JEE based admissions) is common for all the four Jaypee universities namely JIIT Noida (Sec 62 & Sec 128), JUIT Waknaghat, JUET Guna and JU Anoopshahr. The class 12th mode application form is separate for each university.

Eligibility

Entrance Examination

Only for JEE Main Mode: The candidate must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2023 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

Qualifying Examination

• The candidate should have passed or appeared in the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship as optional subject.
• Candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent examination.

Age

Candidate should be born on or after October 1, 2002.
